The Geneva International Airport supports Climate Protection
In cooperation with the Swiss organisation myclimate – The Climate Protection Partnership – the Geneva International Airport offers its passengers high quality carbon offsets. On this website passengers can calculate their emissions from air travel and offset these CO2-emissions by a myclimate carbon offset project in Switzerland or in other countries.
About myclimate
The non-profit-foundation myclimate has originated in 2002 in Switzerland. myclimate supports projects, which lead to a direct reduction of greenhouse gases in Switzerland and in other countries. myclimate projects must satisfy strict project standards. As well as reducing greenhouse gases, they must also make a demonstrably positive contribution to sustainable development and be both ecologically as well as socially compatible.
